What this site is. An independent editorial guide to mobile data in Costa Rica. We are not a mobile operator, not an eSIM reseller, and not affiliated with any provider or Costa Rican carrier. We sell nothing directly and hold none of your money.

Accuracy and dates. Every price, cap and coverage claim carries the date we verified it. Providers change prices, fair-use terms and network partners without notice, and shops and airport desks open and close. Treat everything here as correct on the date shown and verify the current price at the provider before you pay. If you find something stale, tell us and we will fix it.

Coverage claims. Coverage statements come from operator published maps, Opensignal's April 2026 Costa Rica report, SUTEL's 2025 road-based evaluation and aggregated traveler reports. They are guidance, not a guarantee of service at a specific address. Nobody, including the operators, can promise you a bar of signal at a particular lodge.

Affiliate links. Some outbound links earn us a commission through the Travelpayouts network. Your price is unaffected and our rankings are not for sale. Full detail on the disclosure page.

Liability. Information is published in good faith and used at your own discretion. Your contract for any plan is with the provider you buy it from, and their terms, refunds and support govern it. We are not a party to that transaction.

Content. The text, tables and images on this site are ours. Quoting a fact with a link back is welcome. Copying pages wholesale is not.
